Justice reform on the focus of the School

ASPS part of the World Forum for Democracy
The fourth World Forum for Democracy organised by the Council of Europe from 18 to 20 November 2015 in Strasbourg gathered some 1,500 participants – participants of 21 Schools of Political Studies, political leaders, militants from civil society, media representatives and young people – from 100 countries.

The preliminary findings of a study on the online strategy of public relations of ISIS in Albania were presented today in a roundtable with policy makers, experts and representatives of civil society. ASPS alumni involved in Justice Reform in Albania
Following the collaboration started with ad hoc Parliamentary Commission, the alumni has been invited again to provide their recommendations on two important documents approved by the Commission, namely the "Strategy of Reform in Justice System" and the "Action Plan" of this strategy.
Meeting with the candidate mayor Gjergj Bojaxhi
The APS alumni and participants organized on 11 June 2015, an open discussion with the independent candidate for mayor of Tirana, Mr. Gjergj Bojaxhi. The debate focused on the vision and program of a candidate proposed by citizens and constitutes an innovation in the transparency way regarding the financing of its electoral campaign.
Third national course “Albania and the trends of European integration”
The third national course of ASPS on “Albania and the trends of European integration” was held in Durres from 29-31 May 2015. The course objective was to provide the participants with substantial knowledge on the EU and the European integration process, in order to help them better understand Albania’s challenges in its path towards the EU.
