First national course of the ASPS - Pogradec
The first national course of the Albanian School of Political Studies named "Political Parties" took place in Pogradec (Albania) from 3-6 February 2011. About 23 participants actively learned and shared theories and experiences with particular focus on the developments in Albania over the last 20 years. The topics covered by this course were carefully selected and put in a logic order to complement and support each other.
Summer University 28 June - 2 July, in Strasbourg
Nearly 600 political leaders, civil society activists, journalists and business leaders from approximately 20 countries met in Strasbourg, from 28 June to 2 July, to discuss the developments related to the exercise of power in the time of crisis.

4th Summer University for Democracy closes in Strasbourg
Strasbourg, 10.07.2009 -Some 600 participants of the 4th Summer University for Democracy, that ended today, stressed that global challenges to democracy should be faced through advocating the rule of law and re-thinking the values that prevail in our world.
