Albanian School of Political Studies successfully closed the academic year for the participants of the 2022-2023 generation. A group of 20 young leaders graduated after completing a one-year cycle on good governance, political organization, leadership and European Union policies.
The graduation ceremony was greeted by the Minister of Youth and Children, Mrs. Bora Muzhaqi, as well as the head of the office of the Council of Europe in Tirana, Mrs. Giuliu Re, who congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to further transmit the values and knowledge gained during the program.
In her greeting Mrs. Muzhaqi underlined the values that this school transmits and the importance of the networking it enables with other young people to bring about a positive change in Albanian society. Ms. Muzhaqi brought her example as one of the participants of the Generation 2017 School and the encouragement to further contribute by engaging in politics.
The head of the Council of Europe in Tirana, Mrs. Re, emphasized in her speech the important role played by education for young leaders in promoting a stable democracy, now that democracy has been placed under threat by recent developments. "Each of you has an important role to play, in the professional or civic sphere, in support of the country's democratic transformations, to improve your future and the generations to come."
Two representatives of the graduate group, Lorina Misku and Osman Stafa, greeted on behalf of the group and thanked for the opportunity given to increase their knowledge ASP and the supporters of the program.
Then the ceremony continued with the distribution of diplomas to the participants, who after this moment join the network of over 400 alumni of the School, continuing to offer their professional and human commitment in various initiatives undertaken.
