The Academy of Political Studies is conducting a survey on the training needs of vulnerable voter groups in four regions of Albania (Tirana, Shkodra, Fier and Gjirokastra).  This survey is being carried out as part of a study being conducted by the Academy in cooperation with  the Central Election Commission and the OSCE, whose presence in Tirana is thanks to the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.   Over 1,200 interviews with representatives of groups such as: local official (mayors and municipal councilors), local observers, women, youth, minorities and people with disabilities will be cared out. The information gathered from these interviews will be analyzed in a specific study and will serve to improve electoral education within Albania. The commitment of these local representatives to the project was secured thanks to the cooperation of our alumni involved in the project and the prominent reputation of the Academy. The findings of this study will be presented in the upcoming weeks.
