The findings of a research on Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) in Albania were presented today in a roundtable with different interest groups, experts from the business world, government, parliamentary commission groups and diplomats. The event was organise in the framework of the public initiatives of the participants of the "Albanian School of Political Studies". The research team, Oljan Kanushi, Valbona Muçaj, Jonida Ndreu, Julinda Karaboja and Ervis Moçka, identified the main issues and offered recommendations for Foreign Direct Investment in Albania.
The research combined ten different reports from national agencies, institutions and international organization regarding the main issues and recommendations for FDI. Mr. Genti Beqiri, director of the Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA), evaluated the initiative of the participants of the School and stressed the importance of evidence-based policy-making.
The open debate between the participants served as a discussion platform that aims analyse the current developments and promote inclusive dialogue on the topic.
