This activity brought together representatives of parliaments, ministers, heads of institutions, experts, business representatives and civil society and media from across the region, with the aim to exchange experience in meeting targets set for energy efficiency. "Academy of Political Studies" cooperated in representing our country at this conference by an important delegation. Also, Mr. Agim Bregasi, head of energy department of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy, expressed the projects to increase the power of renewable energy production and its diversification. MPs and other representatives of civil society institutions that were in Belgrade, are already part of the Albanian project "Public dialogue on sustainable energy use in South-East Europe". This program is a collaboration of the German organization GIZ and regional network of schools of political studies, a program of the Council of Europe to train young leaders. Albania has become part of this program, through cooperation of GIZ Albania and "Academy of Political Studies." The objective of this program is awareness, promoting dialogue and creating a climate of debate among experts and policy makers to create the groundwork necessary to progress in achieving the objectives of increasing energy efficiency.  In the same program, was organized in October 4, 2011 the first forum on "Public Dialogue on sustainable use of energy in Albania" with the involvement of all the above factors. Other activities are provided in a long term program, with a view to assist in achieving the commitments made by our country.
